BABYLON HAS FALLEN
THE FALL OF BABYLON ?

"And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication". (Rev 14:8)
It is very important to understand who fallen Babylon represents as it influences who receives the Mark of the Beast and all that follow the beast who receive its mark in their foreheads and hands receive the judgements of God (Rev 14:9-12). Revelations Chapter 14 and 17 and Daniel Chapter 7 provide more clues as to who Babylon represents.
"And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: and upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH; and I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration" (Revelations 17:4-6).
WHAT IS MYSTERY BABYLON ?
Now before we continue we must make it perfectly clear that God still has his people in this apostate Church. This is evident from Revelations 18:1-4 where God is calling his true followers to come out of these Churches (Mother Church and daughter churches Rev 17:4-6) to worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). The key features of Mystery Babylon are described as follows;

(1). Rises to power as one of the 10 divisions of the Roman Empire (Daniel 7:8, 24-25)
(2). Uproots three kingdoms on it's rise to power (Daniel 7:8)
(3). Religious and political power that speaks great things against God and makes war with the saints (Daniel 7:20-21)
(4). Harlot mother church that unites with the kings of the earth and leads people away from God's Word (Rev 14:8, 17:5).
(5). Mother of Harlots and apostate churches that lead people away from God's Word (Revelations 17:5)
(6). Drunk with the blood of the saints and martyrs of Jesus: (Revelations 17:6)
(7). Arrayed in purple and scarlet and is wealthy (Revelations 17:4)

The Roman Catholic Church is the only religious political power that fulfills all the descriptions outlined in Daniel Chapter 7 and Revelations 14, 17 and 18. (1) It came out of the Roman Empire, (2) On its rise to power it uprooted three kingdoms. These included the Heruli, the Ostrogoths, and the Vandals. The reason why they were plucked up was because they were opposed to the teaching and claims of the papal hierarchy, and hence to the supremacy in the church of the bishop of Rome just as the Word of God foretold so many years ago. (3) The Roman Catholic Church has been a religious political power ever since it was provided protection from the State of Rome by Constantine in 313 AD. It became the Roman Empire's official sole religion through Emperor Theodosius at the edict of Thessalonica in 380 AD. Ever since its rise to power the Roman Catholic Church has been a religious political power that has influenced the all nations world-wide.

(4) A Harlot and the Mother of Harlots. The Roman Catholic church has introduced many pagan teachings into Christianity. This was the reason for the start of the reformation of the 16th century which began the birth of Protestantism which has since fallen away from God's Word to also follow the traditions of men instead of the Word of God. This being said though God has many true believers in all these churches even today but is calling them out of these apostate churches to follow him in spirit and in truth for God wants all his followers to be of one shepherd and one fold (Rev 18:1-4, John 4:23, John 10:16).
Persecution of Protestantism emerged in the 16th Century by the apostate Catholic Church against those that wished to follow the Word of God. (6) Estimates of Christians that were persecuted and killed for their belief in the Word of God by the Roman Catholic Church range from 50 million people to 150 million people (more on estimates) fulfilling the prophecy descriptions of Daniel 7:25 and Revelations 17:6, "And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus".
Babylon the Whore and Mother of Harlots (Revelations 14:8, 17:5 and 18:1-5) = The Roman Catholic church

The apostate Woman is also (7) arrayed in purple and scarlet not only representing sin and wealth but literally these are the official colors of the Roman Catholic Church. Quite clearly it is shown from history and the Word of God that the Roman Catholic Church is Babylon that great whore and mother of harlots of Revelations 14, 17 and the little Horn power of
Daniel 7.

Letting the Word of God interpret itself a WOMAN represents a Christian religion that is either following God or not following God.
• WOMAN, PURE = True Church (Jeremiah 6:2; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:23-27)
• WOMAN, CORRUPT = Apostate church (Ezk 16:15-58; 23:2-21; Hos. 2:5; 3:1; Rev. 14:4)
• WOMAN HARLOT = Apostate church/religion (Isaiah 1:21-27; Jeremiah 3:1-3; 6-9)

Mystery Babylon in the book of Revelations is referring to a Christian religion that was following God but has now left God and is being unfaithful to the teachings of God's Word (fornication = left following God's Word). She is described as being dressed in purple (wealth or royalty Mark 15:17, Judges 8:26) and scarlet (= sin/corruption Isaiah 1:18; Nahum 2:3; Revelation 17:1-4) and decked with precious stones having a golden cup in her hands full of the abominations and filthiness of her fornication. She is described as being the Mother of Harlots meaning that many false Christian religions have come out of her and a further description says she is drunk with the blood of the saints and martyrs of Jesus (Revelations 17:6).

The whore woman (apostate Church) is further described as committing fornication with the Kings of the earth and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. This apostate church is not following God's Word instead it is following after the Kings and leaders of the world and is making the inhabitants of the earth drunk with false teachings and leading them away from the Word of God (Revelations 17:1-3).

The book of Daniel also describes the beginning of the Mother Harlot Church of Revelations 14, 17 and 18. The Book of Daniel describes four kingdoms that would rule the earth that history identifies as Babylon, Medes and Persians, Greece and the Roman Empires. Out of the Roman Empire would emerge 10 divisions represented by the 10 toes of the great statue and the fourth beast with 10 horns (Daniel 2:41-43 and Daniel 7:7-6). The origin of the apostate political christian church is foretold as appearing as one of the 10 Horns coming out of the fourth beast (Roman Empire)

Now look at these pics below.... who is sitting on the great white throne in Rev 20:11? Who is sitting between the two cherubims of Isa 37:16? Who is sitting in the temple of God showing himself that he is God in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4?
MOTHER OF HARLOTS ?

"And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." (Revelations 17:5).

Now as highlighted above we must make it perfectly clear that it is the system and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the teachings of the daughter churches that God hates and not the people. In fact God is calling everyone that will hear his voice to come out of these false churches to follow him in spirit and in truth (Revelations 18:1-4 and John 4:23).

It is clear from the Word of God and history that MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT is the Roman Catholic Church! We should also take note that the Roman Catholic Church is also THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS as highlighted in Revelations 17:5. Protestantism emerged from the Roman Catholic church during the 16th Century. From this reformation have emerged nearly every professed Christian church of the world today!
Protestantism started the reformation through men of God searching the scriptures. Men such as Martin Luther and others that read the Word of God for themselves, discovered that the Roman Catholic church's teachings were contrary to the Bible. This great movement resulted in many people leaving the Roman Catholic church and persecution by the mother church soon followed.

Today, the majority of these daughters have substituted the Word of God for the traditions and teachings of man and false teachings have been substituted for the Word of God. Just as the Word of God has prophesied in Revelations 17:5 The Roman Catholic church is the mother of harlots. The protestant churches of today while holding some truths of the reformation have departed from other important teachings of the Word of God to follow paganism and the same message is sent to all God's people in these churches today. "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities (Revelations 18:4-5).
