Greeting all and much love in the Lord Jesus!
The following scripture studies have shown us that God's law (10 commandments) give us the knowledge of good (moral right doing) and evil (moral wrong doing); sin (moral wrong doing) and righteousness (moral right doing) *see Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4 and Psalms 119:172 and their purpose is to show us all our need of God's salvation because we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God *Romans 3:9-23. Their purpose therefore is to lead us to Christ that we might be forgiven through faith in His promises *Galatians 3:22-25 and receive God's free gift of grace *Ephesians 2:8-9. The background scripture studies have been provided in the following scripture links below
In this study we will look at the one law from God's 10 commandments, that God tells us to "remember" that the whole world including most of Christianity tells us to "forget". In our earlier study of the scriptures, (e.g. What is the knowledge of good and evil? ) we saw that all of God's 10 commandments and His Word give us the knowledge of good and righteousness when obeyed and evil and sin when disobeyed and according to James in James 2:10-11 if we break anyone of them we stand guilty before God of sin and of course all of us have sinned, falling short of God's glory and are in need of God's salvation *Romans 3:8-23. The law therefore leads us to Christ for forgiveness of sins that we might be forgiven through faith to receive God's free gift of grace *see Galatians 3:22-25; Ephesians 2:8-9.
SO WHAT HAVE WE FORGOTTEN?
God knowing all things and seeing into the future tells us what we have forgotten in His 4th commandment of the 10 commandments where it is written;
Exodus 20:8-11 [8], Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. [9], Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: [10], But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: [11], For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
According to the scriptures the antichrist power comes out of the Romans empire "speaking great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws" - Daniel 7:25. Today most of the Christian world has been handed down the man-made teaching and tradition of Sunday worship from the early Roman Catholic Church in fulfillment of Daniel 7:25 yet there is not a single scripture in all of Gods' Word that says Gods' 4th commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a holy day of rest.
According to the scriptures in the prophecies from Danial 7:24-25 we are told that the coming antichrist power that arises from the Roman empire (the little horn) will speak great things against the most high and will think to change times and laws.
Daniel 7:24-25 [24], And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. [25], And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
According to the scriptures this power arises out of the Roman empire (fourth beast which is the fourth world ruling empire - Rome) and is different from all the other kings. Only the Roman Catholic Church fits this description and it is this mother of all the Church's that has handed down the man-made teaching and tradition of Sunday worship to most of Christianity today and is the beast power that all the world is following after today by obeying why it says.
According to the scriptures, Gods people are in every Church *John 10:16 and according to Jesus the hour is coming and now is that these true worshipers where ever they are will come out from following these man-made teaching and traditions that lead us away from Gods and His Word to break the commandments of God *Matthew 15:3-9 to worship Him in Spirit and in truth (see John 4:23-24; John 17:17; Matthew 15:3-9; Revelation 17:1-5; Revelation 18:1-5; Revelation 14:12).
Q. WHAT HAVE WE FORGOTTEN?

We cannot worship God by following man-made teachings and traditions that lead us away from Gods' Word to break the commandments of God - Matthew 15:3-9

.......................
A. We have all forgotten God's 4th commandment and have been taught lies from the fallen Church's to follow man-made teachings and traditions that have led us away from Gods' Word to break Gods' 4th commandment that is one of God's 10 commandments that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken (Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4).
God knows however that many break His 4th commandment out of ignorance because it is what they have been taught from man-made teachings and traditions from the Church and do not know any better and according to the scriptures in times of ignorance when we do not know the scriptures God winks at but when he gives us a knowledge of the truth of His Word he calls all men everywhere to believe and follow what His Word says *see James 4:17; Acts of the Apostles 17:30-31; compare Hebrews 10:26-31.
God is calling all of us all out from following man-made teachings and traditions (Babylon) back to His Word to follow him and worship Him in Spirit and in truth *John 4:23-24; John 17:17. God is a Spirit and those who worship Him according to Jesus must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. May God bless you as you seek Him through His Word
